I directed the creative development of dozens of in-house games at Stride Gaming, establishing a comprehensive game development initiative that would diversify our portfolio and reduce reliance on third-party content. Market research showed that character-driven slot games demonstrated higher player retention and engagement metrics, presenting an opportunity to create distinctive gaming experiences that would resonate with our audience.

Working closely with our talented team of illustrators and animators, I established comprehensive character design systems that balanced playful anthropomorphism with visual clarity needed for gaming interfaces. My approach focused on transforming ordinary gaming symbols into charismatic personalities with distinct traits and backstories, creating emotional connections with players beyond typical slot mechanics.

I guided the development of key visual elements including color palettes, lighting effects, and transition animations to ensure cohesive and polished experiences throughout each gaming interface. Each game received unique personality profiles, animation sets, and signature sound effects that distinguished them within our portfolio.
